I absolutely do not regret my vote for President Trump because had Kamala Harris won, we would be in a much worse situation right now. President Trump has done many good things for this country!
That being said, his stance on these hyperscale data centers is absolutely and completely IGNORANT!!!!
I don’t know who the hell he is listening to, but it’s not anyone from a military or tech background because they are all telling us the same thing; We don’t need these hyperscale data centers due to advanced technologies!!
In addition, they do NOT create jobs (post-constuctuon), and they create very serious, negative harms to communities and the environment.
The state of Virginia already has more data centers than the entire country of China. We do NOT need more data centers to win the AI race!
We’ve already won! China is its own monster! All they do is copycat. They already control every movement of every citizen with less than 400 data centers, most of which are not hyperscale. We are not competing with them; They simply copy everything we do! They’re already controlling every movement of every citizen, with very few data centers, which should tell you everything…
