MYSTERIOUS UFO DEATH UPDATE

Boulder County Authorities Release Timeline in David Wilcock Death Investigation

On April 23, 2026, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office issued an update on the death of 53-year-old David Wilcock, confirming it as a suicide amid significant public interest and online speculation.

According to the detailed timeline:

  • At 10:44 a.m. on April 20, Wilcock himself called 911.
  • Deputies arrived cautiously, observing him holding a gun to his head.
  • At approximately 11:05 a.m., after a deputy commanded him to drop the weapon, Wilcock shot himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other individuals were found on the property.

The Boulder County Coroner officially identified Wilcock on April 22. His family, with the sheriff’s office, released a heartfelt statement describing his long battle with depression and overwhelming financial debt. They highlighted his curious, creative life—from a childhood in Upstate New York filled with science, music, and spirituality, to his career as a bestselling author (The Source Field Investigations, The Synchronicity Key, and others) and media personality known for exploring UFOs, UAPs, ancient mysteries, and consciousness.

The family noted his deep commitment to service, community, and the divinity of human life, while acknowledging struggles with mental health and the complexities of his public work, which sometimes sparked misinformation concerns. They stressed there was no foul play and asked for privacy as they grieve. In his memory, they encouraged support for mental health resources, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and donations to the Crisis Text Line or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
