As a result of a nine-month investigation, members of the Michigan House Oversight Committee are raising concerns about potential fraud and administrative errors in Michigan’s food assistance program.
Because of this, Michigan may face a $320 million federal penalty, as the SNAP payment error rate is now close to 10%.
