A swarm of masked far-left agitators showed up at the home of Michigan State Rep. Angela Rigas over the weekend, chanting and vandalizing her property in protest of her co-sponsorship of bills targeting illegal immigration. The group trespassed on her lawn, taped signs to her front door demanding she withdraw support, and posted threats. Rigas, who chairs the House Oversight Subcommittee on Weaponization of Government, stood firm, stating: “I will ALWAYS prioritize the safety of American citizens over dangerous illegal criminals.” A police report has been filed, and video evidence has been turned over to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.

The FBI says it stopped an alleged New Year’s Eve bombing plot in Southern California after arresting four defendants accused of planning to plant improvised explosive devices at multiple “logistics center” style targets around the Los Angeles area. The Justice Department describes the suspects as tied to an anti-government, anti-capitalist group and says agents seized bomb-making materials before any devices were built or deployed … and prosecutors say the plot was aimed to hit under the cover of New Year’s Eve noise and fireworks. These are allegations and the case now moves through federal court.
