This isn’t easy..
Friend,
Now, I don’t want you to worry..
But I need to step away this week and won’t be on air or in the studio until after Labor Day.
The reason is personal: I just got word the that my biological father passed away.
We only reconnected a few years ago at the age of 40.
It really is a wild story. I’ve told a bit of it before on the radio, and in my book. It’s a tough moment, but I wanted you to know directly.
I appreciate your prayers and the prayers for my family.
Thanks for your understanding. You’re like family, and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.

A Latin Kings gang member has been arrested in Illinois for allegedly putting a $10,000 hit on a top U.S. Border Patrol commander.
The Department of Homeland Security says the suspect used Snapchat to solicit the murder of Chief Gregory Bovino, who’s been leading major border operations.
The feds moved in fast after uncovering the plot — which they say also offered $2,000 for tips on the commander’s whereabouts.
