American people even trying to shut down a coal fire power plant right on our backyard but where is Dana Nessel on this wildfire coming out of Canada? It's been three years. And not a peep from Lansing.
 
It is utterly unacceptable that Michiganders are once again breathing smoke-filled air because Canada can’t get its wildfires under control. Our so-called allies to the north have stayed silent, showing zero remorse for the health warnings and disruptions their fires cause here at home. So much for ‘friends’—while Michigan families deal with air quality alerts, Canada shrugs, leaving us to pay the price.
