Gov. Whitmer locked Michigan down.

#NeverForget

How many died in nursing homes because of her reckless policy of sending infected patients right into the heart of where the most vulnerable were trapped?

How many students are STILL playing catch-up because of the learning losses from closing schools. Not to mention the mental health crises they suffered from?

How many business shuttered because of her ridiculous restaurant you can eat inside only if the inside is outside “igloo style” plans?

She breathlessly preached to follow the science and data.

But now that the real science is out, we’ve learned it was all a lie.

Social distancing, m@sks, and most recently even the New York Times has reported on the epic tragedy of closing schools.

Where do we go to get it all back?

We won’t.

All we can hope for is the cry to never let it happen again.

When will these ignorant politicians be held responsible?

We have another chance to send a signal in November.

Will we wise up?

“We Are the Bridge”
My name’s Richard. I’m 74. I sometimes think our generation is the bridge between two worlds — one made of dirt roads and handwritten letters, the other made of satellites and screens in our pockets.
I was born in a house without air conditioning. Summer meant open windows and the hum of a box fan. We knew the neighbors by name, and if your bike chain broke, you knocked on any door until someone found a wrench. We grew up on patience — waiting for the mail, waiting for the library to open, waiting for the radio to play our favorite song again.
Then the world sped up. Phones shrank, music became invisible, and the news didn’t take days to reach us — it arrived in our palms before we finished breakfast. We learned to type, to swipe, to tap. We learned to talk to machines and have them talk back. We learned… because we always had to.
We’ve seen milk delivered to the door in glass bottles, and we’ve scanned groceries without a cashier. We’ve dropped ...

Thanks Whitmer! - MDOT is warning that 100+ Michigan bridges are at high risk of closure by 2035 (SECRET SHOW PREP 8-15-25)

MDOT is warning that 100+ Michigan bridges are at high risk of closure by 2035 without more money—fueling GOP claims that Gov. Whitmer prioritized ‘corporate welfare’ over roads. A Mackinac Center analysis says the state has already paid out about $670 million through the SOAR program—largely to five EV/renewables projects—with zero ‘qualified’ jobs reported so far. The Whitmer/MEDC side says those factory projects are long-term and still ramping.

Nessel ready to shut down MEDC? (SECRET SHOW PREP 8-14-25)

Michigan AG Dana Nessel is openly questioning whether the state should keep funding the Michigan Economic Development Corporation after her office says MEDC ‘stonewalled’ a probe into a canceled $20 million grant to Global Link International—a nonprofit tied to then-MEDC executive committee member Fay Beydoun—flagging expenses like a $4,500 coffeemaker and $13,000 flights; the June raid of MEDC offices and Nessel’s warning that ‘perhaps’ MEDC shouldn’t receive any state funds have the agency’s future under a harsh spotlight.

Judge orders Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to respond to lawsuit over refusal to call Senate special election (SECRET SHOW PREP 8-13-25)

A Michigan Court of Claims judge has ordered Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to respond within 10 days to a lawsuit accusing her of refusing to call a special election for the long-vacant 35th State Senate seat. Seven mid-Michigan voters are seeking a writ of mandamus to force an immediate election, arguing the district’s ~270,000 residents have gone 200+ days without representation. Whitmer’s office hasn’t commented.
