There will be no new data center proposals in Solon Township for at least six months.
The Solon Township Board of Trustees on Monday, Feb. 9 unanimously approved a six-month moratorium on data center proposals, generating thunderous applause from the people in attendance.
Solon Township is a rural community of about 6,500 people that is about 23 miles north of Grand Rapids.

🚨 BREAKING: Congressman Randy Fine (R-FL) says Bad Bunny’s halftime show broke the law.
"F-bombs. Pornographic lyrics. Live TV. If this were in English, fines would be raining down," Fine posted on X.
