ICE agents here in Michigan picked up a 44-year-old illegal alien from Cuba who’d been living and working in Grand Rapids, even though he’d already been convicted in another county for a child sex crime involving a victim between 13 and 15. Agents say he’d been moving around the state, violating the terms of his release, and was taken into custody without incident. It’s another example of federal officers dealing with cases locals never should’ve had to face in the first place.
