Human trafficking sting in Michigan County leads to arrest

A human sex trafficking sting in Charelvoix County led to the arrest of a man from Mexico.

The Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office conducted the sting on July 20.

During the investigation, detectives arrested Juan Gomez Hernandez for attempting to sex trafficking an underage girl, according to the report.

The U.S. Border Patrol assisted in the investigation.
